It was always my intent to seek a British publisher. This is a story about a British war after all, and I think the story deserves telling first on that side of the pond, where people worked behind the scenes to enable the victory. Theirs is a story that deserves to be told. I just thought it made more sense to get my book published in the UK first and then have it released here in the US. That’s they way it turned out. Fortunately, the publishing house that I sought also wanted to publish my book, and that thrilled me. Pen & Sword Books is the premier publisher of military histories anywhere in my opinion. I could not have found a better publisher than Pen & Sword or a better managing editor than Henry Wilson, also a former military man.
